This is, without exaggeration, an historic day for democracy. The AP wire has just reported that Senator Barbara Boxer will join Rep. John
Conyers and others at 1pm today in Congress to protest the Ohio Electoral votes. Thanks to all of you who called and emailed to make this happen.
At 1pm today, listen to http://www.pacifica.org or watch C-SPAN TV. You can watch on your omputer screen by going to http://www.cspan.org/
(the bottom right corner, labeled "live feeds," has a link for each of the 3 C-SPAN channels).
The Green Party website http://www.votecobb.org has background on the recount, as well as minute-by-minute updates and pictures of the happenings in Lafayette Park in Washington, where hundreds are raising their voices to protest the Ohio Electoral votes.
I hope you are wearing orange to show your support for democracy!
